Let's Craft and Create - Challenge #119 Winter  Thanks to those who took part in our  last challenge... #118 Halloween/Autumn/Fall Now team 2's inspirations are now availble to check out for Challenge 119 Here is my two pieces of inspiration.  I decided on two cards this challenge. I must say that here in New Zealand winter is over, Spring is here and summer is on it way. So it was a challenge to do a winter themed card.  I used the winter colour on one card and a near christmas type thank you card.  for this card I used real feathers   Good old prima flowers and some misc embelishments from my stash     And I made an dinked a little tag For this card I embossed the white card stock and embellished with pearl drops.   I used a Tim Holtz leave diefor the banner with a few gold metal leaves from my stash. Hope you like them, and I look forward to see your work.  Please leave a comment with your blog so I cam come visit. Happy scrapping.

The final challenge for this month from  'Lets Scrap Sketches' .  The talented Mich has provided the inspiration and here is my take on the sketch.  Using stuff from my stash only. I stencilled the background using modelling paste.    I used a kaiser die for the TIRA letters and placed them with foam squares   I also sprayed the back ground with glimmer mist  Yep,  my little boy is growing up.   Would love to see your take on the sketch. Happy scrapping J

Lets Scrap Sketch Challenge for November - Brothers

Wow nearly the end of the year and here is the first of the challenges for the month of November from  'Lets Scrap Sketches' .  The talented Mich has provided the inspiration and here is my take on the sketch.  I would love to see your take on the sketch and also have a look at your blogs.  ,  Now for this challenge I decided that I would attempt to use just stuff from my every growing stash.  I used a stencil that was a a gift on a magazine I purchased.   And my trusty old flag punch for the banner.    I decided against matting the photos as my boys do prefer the simple look on their layouts. Here are couple more close ups.   Hope you like it and I can't wait to see your layouts. Happy scrapping J
