Nostalgia upcycled

20 days till Christmas and here is another challenge from 'Lets Craft and Create'  #154 ANYTHING GOES + (OPTION)  'Let it Snow' My creation this month is Christmas card.  Now remember to check out the teams creations and also the prize for this month.   Now for the card:   I also used the snow flake die on the top embossed layer of the card to bring the mat colour through.  I am looking forward to seeing your creations.

Fabulous weather,  summer is on its way here in New Zealand.   The spring flowers are out and the bees are working hard .  And yes it is time for the November challenge from 'Lets Craft and Create' My creation this month are 'Thank you' cards using lavender from my garden.  I love the fact that although I have used real flowers,  rather than dying these will dry and still look as great.   Firstly I made mini bouquets of lavenders with tissue paper and twine   I used one of my fav 'Thanks' stamps from Stampin up    Here are a couple more photos Hope you like the cards, remember there is nothing like receiving 'Thanks you' flowers even when they are mini bunches. This month I have started a Recipe journal for a friend,   which I hope to have complete before Christmas.  Our DO-AL(L) Creatives challenge sponsor for this month is;  Simon Says Stamp! Now for the recipe journal I will be sharing some of my favourite recipes. I made the entire journal from my stash of papers.  I embellished the cover  and used my trusty Zutter to bind the pages. Added some ribbon to the binding. and I will slow add recipes and photos  Hope you like it.  I look forward to see your creations - remember anything but a card.  Happy crafting  Jonnece

Welcome to our October challenge from 'Let's Craft and Create' ANYTHING GOES + (OPTION)  'Colours of Fall -  Red, Yellow, Orange and brown' My inspiration for this month is a card.  And it was such a lovely day here in Palmerston North NZ, I took the photo outside.  Please remember to go have a look at the inspiration from the team at the ' Lets Craft and Create ' challenge. And rember the prize for this month: Here are a couple more shots.  I used a die for the leaves and also fussy cut some patterned paper.  I embossed the base handmade paper,  which I made myself.      Now confession time, as I made alot of cards and often I like it so much I don't actually want to give it away so I repurpose the card for a scrapbook page.  I do the same with cards that I receive as well,...

Welcome to our October challenge for DO-AL (L) creatives:  The theme for this challenge #34 is 'Shaker'. my contribution is a Valentines card using one of the sponsors images   Our sponsor for this challenge SheepSkiDesigns And couple more shots of my card.   Now I upcycled packaging from a die to create the actual shaker pocket.   I fussy cut the image to also use as a border.  I look forward to see your creations. How times flies,  it is spring here in New Zealand already.  T od ay was a perfect spring day,  sun shine and warmth.  And it is also time for our September from DO-AL(L) Creatives.  This month there is a shaped card challenge. For this challenge I have made a step folded card with potted flowers.  The back of the card has a sentiment section.   The options for a shaped card is numerious so I am looking  forward to see what you came up with.  Happy crafting J
