3d Card

Image
I just got the Sizzix 3D pop-up die last week and last night made my first 3D card with my niece, Teghan.  I did make a layout last year in which I made a similar 3D portion but it had to be lifted rather than auto pop -up when opened.  See layout under 'Its r aining its pouring' We used the new designer papers from stampin-up and Inks and Stamps from Stampin-up to make this Thank you card.

Flower Pop up card

The boys have been invited to a birthday party for twin girls who are in their class.  So yes,  a girls Birthday card is required.   So here is my draft card and I have to say I do like the effect.  Light weight patterned paper is required for each flower.  This allows the flower pop with a little more ease than it would if you used a heavier paper. Each flower has seven petals,  petal 1 and 7 are overlapped to give some dimension to the flower.   This is my base card so now on with the creation of the actual card.   (With paper that is more fitting for 9 year old girls).

The boys: 'All about me' Album

Well,  the boys have finally completed their albums which are to be handed into school tomorrow.  The albums have grown a bit from when they first started a couple of week ago but here they are: Arahi's album:                  And here is Tira's album:      Tira has an album within his album.      Phew! another months homework completed, I can relax.
