DO-AL (l) creatives: reminder for our June Challenge

A little reminder for the June challenge from DO-AL (l) Creatives:

June Theme:   National colours.

If you are a sports fan and in particularly Rugby,  you will be aware of our national team,

the New Zealand All blacks (the current holders of the Rugby World cup) and their flag:

So for the reminder I have crafted a card in these colours.

But before that just a reminder of our sponsor for this challenge is:

The New Zealand National sports flag is Black and white (the silver fern).

And here is my card.
Simple but with impact, a bit like our Rugby team.

Little known fact:  the All blacks were called that by a British reporter back in the early 1910's.  It is believe that the paper printed it incorrectly and it should have read 'all backs' (rugby term)  but fortunately for us it stuck.
Most of our sports teams now are named accordingly:
Basketball - Tall blacks
Woman's Rugby - Black Ferns (current world champs)
Hockey - Black sticks
Cricket - Black caps

We are also famous for the Haka.  The Haka is performed by teams completing at an international level, prior to the match to place the challenge.
All pacific island nations (except for Australia) perform a Haka.  The Haka is amazing to be part of and to see live.  It is truly inspiring when it is performed.

Ok enough of being patriotic, back to crafting.

I really look forward to seeing your creations inspired by this challenge.

Happy crafting.
