I have a little fascination with gift tags cards at the moment.   Here are a couple that I made last night.    So pretty and yet versatile,  with the fact you can turn it over and add a sentiment.    I first stenciled and stamped the base tag.    I fussy cut out the flowers from a kaiser paper Added some twine and ribbon  They will soon attached to a gift.   Hope you like them.   I am sharing these tags with the following sites:  Crafting from the heart challenge blog -  Anything goes 613 Avenue Create  -  Anything goes Corrosive challenges by Janet - Anything goes We love 2 create - Anything goes Happy crafting.

A little reminder for the June challenge from DO-AL (l) Creatives: June Theme:   National colours. If you are a sports fan and in particularly Rugby,  you will be aware of our national team,  the New Zealand All blacks (the current holders of the Rugby World cup) and their flag: So for the reminder I have crafted a card in these colours.  But before that just a reminder of our sponsor for this challenge is: The New Zealand National sports flag is Black and white (the silver fern). And here is my card.   Simple but with impact, a bit like our Rugby team.  Little known fact:  the All blacks were called that by a British reporter back in the early 1910's.  It is believe that the paper printed it incorrectly and it should have read 'all backs' (rugby term)  but fortunately for us it stuck.  Most of our sports teams now are named accordingly: Basketball - Tall blacks Woman's Rugby ...

DO-AL (l) creatives: Challenge #18: June 2018 theme National colours

Image
A great new challenge from DO-AL (l) Creatives: June Theme:   National colours Our sponsor for this challenge is: And I have used one of their digi's.  The New Zealand National flag is red white and blue. Unfortunately it is often mistaken for the Australian flag which is the same colours but the stars of the southern cross are white and they have 1 extra star.   now for a couple of extra close ups.  And just to show that the card design would suit many colours I have also complete one in the national colours of Germany.   I hope you like the card and I do look forward to seeing your creations.  I will be completing a reminder card for later in the month using the colour for our national sports teams. Happy crafting J
