Lets Scrap: 2-15-17: Smile layout

Well summer has been short lived here in New Zealand and temperatures are dropping already.  Which is a good reason to stay indoors and craft. 

And to help you along,  our second sketch for 'Lets Scrap Sketches' for February month.
My layout

I used my trusty old sewing machine to help with this layout.  Attaching the leaf embellishments with a plain machine stitch

 
 I love using white cardstock for the base paper as it makes the layout for fresh and clean. 
 
The photos are fun and were taken by a friend who attended the Autumn escape scrapbooking weekend get away in Taupo, New Zealand, with me back in 2015
