Second challenge from  'If you give a crafter a cookie'  for February 2017 and here is the inspiration for challenge #63  And here is my birthday card creation,  I made each balloon and foam taped them to the card.  I have 5 layers of matting and I embossed the top mat of the card  And there is a plain section on the inside of the card for writing   Hope you like it.  Remember to check out my teamies inspirations. Well summer has been short lived here in New Zealand and temperatures are dropping already.  Which is a good reason to stay indoors and craft.  And to help you along,  our second sketch for 'Lets Scrap Sketches'   for February month. My layout  And the flash back sketch is: Now a couple of close ups. I used my trusty old sewing machine to help with this layout.  Attaching the leaf embellishments with a plain machine stitch    I love using white cardstock for the base paper as it makes the layout for fresh and clean.    The photos are fun and were taken by a friend who attended the Autumn escape scrapbooking weekend get away in Taupo, New Zealand ,  with me back in 2015  Happy crafting.  J I have also share this layout with the following challenges: Everybody-Art-Challenge   -   #396 -  For Girls Only or Valentine Through The Craft Room Door - Always...

Welcome to first challenge from  'If you give a crafter a cookie'  for February 2017 and here is the inspiration for challenge #62  And here is my creation, is a little card for the special day coming up this month. My inspiration was the heart shape.   I used stamps from my stash - 'Simply said' from Stampin Up I have 3 layers on the card and also matted the large heart and I used foam dots to attach the hearts. Wow February already.  Summer has yet to arrive here in New Zealand so I did enjoy my holiday in the Cook Islands, always end up with the Rarotongan blues until I return there again.   Hopefully it won't be too long a wait.  OK,  our first sketch for 'Lets Scrap Sketches'   for this month.
