Nostalgia upcycled

Here we go with the second challenge from  'If you give a crafter a cookie'  for 2017 and here is the inspiration for challenge #61  And here is my creation, a christmas winter inspired card. (even after 2 weeks holiday in scouching hot Rarotonga) My inspiration was the mitten cookie, so cute and I wanted to make the mitten the main focus hence the actual card is the mitten.  Here are a couple more close ups. Let's Craft and Create - Challenge #121 Things with Wings  Thanks to those who took part in our  last challenge... #120 Christmas and New Year   Team 2's inspirational creations are now available to check out for Challenge 121. . I used a mini fold in the inside of the card and using transpancy stripes I attached some butterflies. The front of the card is layered with a tag and pleated doilys. Our second sketch for 2017 from  'Lets Scrap Sketches' .  As I mentioned in the previous sketch for 01-01-17 we are doing a flash back sketch as inspiration and here it is for this challenge: Can't wait to see you take on this. Here are a couple more photos of my layout.  I used Stampin up and kaiser craft papers and Kaiser quotes.  And I fussy cut some butterflies. Happy scrapping. I love the Rossibelle paper range from Prima, which I used on the following wedding card.  I used a tag as the base and then built the layers with prima papers and a fussy cit key and bird.  Flowers from my stash finished the card, with a little kindy glits.  As always I have made an envelope to go with the card.   Hope you like it.  I have entered the card into the following challenges.  Feeling-sketchy challenge brown sugar challenge Creative corner challenges Creative fingers challenge Reasonable ribbon challenge And remember the Do-Al(l) Creative blog hop is still on. Come visit. Happy New Year everyone and t start the year off here is the first challenge for this this year from  'Lets Scrap Sketches' .  Now as you know I am not big on lots of big photos on layouts so my inspiration is from the photo placement rather than size.  Hope you like it.  For this challenge we are doing a flash back sketch as inspiration.
