Happy Birthday greeting from the team

Yep,  it is the boss's birthday this week so a cake is in order and
I have just taken it out of the oven and it is now cooling and waiting to be iced. 

In the meantime: I have made a card for the team to sign. 

And for the first time I have submitted the card in to the following challenges:

 So a masculine card was needed and as I like texture I have built the card up in layers first a patterned Kaiser paper then burlap ribbon and then more Kaiser paper.
 I used a feather die and one of the Tim Holtz leave dies for the corner embellishments .
Last but not least a nice little butterfly on the top with the sentiment. And some butterflies in side the card as well.

 And as always I made an envelope.

Hope you like card and I hope Alan does.  (to be honest he is more likely to take more  notice of the cake.  LOL)
