Nostalgia upcycled

Here is the start of a 3D birthday journal I am making. I have used Fusion designer papers and some Su cardstock and paper.       Here is the finished Birthday Journal, front and back cover and journal sections on each of the pages.            

Here is another version of my waterfall card using the Tea  for Two Stampin up paper.    The instructions are available in this blog. 

As promised here is the card I made for an up and coming birthday. All products used are Stampin up.     I used a strip of transparency to attach the stand and dress.  Now here are the steps I went thru to come up with the card above. Initial stage to get the size and measurements correct for the inside card section  Second step to get the measurements  of the main card Step 3:  sit back and look at the piece and decide what could be done better, hence the transparent strip to reduce the bulk behind the strand and dress. Step 4:  pick the paper.  

Yes it has been awhile but I have been scrapping away.  I have some layouts submitted for NZ Paperchase, once they have decided which layouts they would like to use I will blog the others.  In the mean time I should have a couple of cards completed in the next few days as it appears to be that time of the year that the kids are invited to quite a few birthdays. With the school holidays over now I have the opportunity to finally look at all the photo's I took on our day trips so I have got plenty of layout options and can't wait to start. watch this space.
