Nostalgia upcycled

My friend Louise is in hospital so the boys and I will pop up tomorrow to drop off some goodies to keep her from getting to bored while she recovers.  As inspiration for her card I used the current challenge from Feeling sketchy And here is my take on sketch.   Thanks feeling Sketchy.   All ready to go. I love this Lets Scrap sketch and the first thing I thought of creating was an album page using this as my inspiration. So here is my first page for the album.   Here are a couple of close ups to show the detail.      The flaps on the right hid a few photos. Now the album itself I have titled as 'I Love....' and here is the front cover   and a closer look.   The album is made up of the following page titles:  Travel, Friends, Crafting, Chocolate and Home, and I will be using the sketch as the inspiration for each page.   I will blog as I complete so watch this space. happy scrapping J

What a great weekend.  Check out some of the results of our weekend away . Here is some of my work. My baby bro with his wonderful wife and little girl. (miss these guys)   I did complete some others but you will need to wait for the 'Lets scrap' reveal.  Happy scrapping. J

Easter is a fun time in our household even with the twins being 3 yrs old, they still like to do an Easter egg hunt and we have a friend who brings his daughter up to Palmy to stay over night and do the hunt with the boys in the morning.   Makes for a nice day with friends and also I get to over indulge in chocolate, one of my favourite food groups. Easter - The Hunt 2015 And here is the inspiration from Lets Scrap challenge for 4-1-16 I hand stitched the flags and then cut out all the Easter eggs from a Kaiser paper which I then matted it on to pink CS.    The poem I embellished a little by adding the kids names.      Great times.
