Birthday invitations set

I feel so blessed to have friends that believe I have some talent when it comes to crafts and one recently asked if I would make the birthday invites for her mothers up and coming birthday high tea.  I was so honoured.   The request was for something for a high tea, Girlie/Girl, Soft colour pinks, Marve's turquoise etc. (With envelopes).   So after some sewing, stamping, inking and using the wonderful big shot, I hope you like the results.  (I hope Robyn likes the results)       of course I do love texture so the invites did end up with a few embellishments that does course a few problems when envelopes are required so I had to make special ones rather than making the good old standard envelopes.  It also meant special padded ones for those being posted.     The inside had the detail of the event and I used a dollies with vellum ( note I have covered some of the text for privacy reasons) They were fun to do a...

A gift for a friend - layout

Sorry it has been awhile, but I have been doing plenty,  so here is a starter for 10. So the lovely Glynes was off to a friends Birthday celebration and as a special gift she want to combine some photos of her friends and part of the bouquet that she had caught at her daughters wedding.  Here is the result.   Using kaiser paper and prima embellishments. All placed in the wonderful shadow box frame from Typo I used the dried flowers from the bouquet and the lace and pins.  I love the result and hopefully her friends liked it.
