Nostalgia upcycled

It has been so long since I last blogged, unfortunately work in interfering with my crafting.   It has also been some time since I last completed a layout so here is one from a recent Crop weekend.       This was a challenge that was completed during the day: You had to included certain embellishment in the layout, such as, a zipper, buttons etc.   Hope you like it. This is the boys at Hamilton Zoo.  

I filled these boxes with Chocolate Marshmallow eggs.      I made these treats for the boys teacher this Easter.  Using the explosive box as a template, I made the main box and the transparent inner box.  The sides of the inner boxes are kept together with a threaded ribbon.   The outer box has a little card so the boys could write a little note for their teacher.
