Nostalgia upcycled

It has not been the best week for New Zealand and in particular for those in Christchurch.  My heart goes out to them all.  It has certainly been a time of reflection and a time where you appreciate everything that you have and hold dear like my boys.  I saw this wonderful tiered card template in the Splitcoaststampers site that I used in this layout.  Card closed Card open   

This would be my all time favourite album.  I used only Stampin up products.  The album is made by joining origami folder photo frames with a triangle insert.  The album box is made from scratch, with the flowers made using the scallop punch.       

This is a selection of photos of the boys and their cousins.   I completed this layout using just Stampin up products, only exception, the ribbon.      1sister, 4 brothers, 2 sets of twins all wrapped up in to 5 cousins   Unwrap the Origami window, and a further photo is revealed. 

The completed package:  One friendship layout, one friends album and the gift box.     

The boys have a birthday this weekend and as a little extra gift I have create a little album for the boys to give her.  It have photos from the last three years, at home and at school disco's.  I made the album from leftover patterned paper and recycled cardboard, together with some scraps of ribbon, wool and leather.   Tomorrow I will make a box to store the album and a friendship layout.  Hopefully this will be something that they will reopen and share in years from now.   

Spent the morning cutting out circles and leaves.  And scrapped a photo of Tira from 4 years ago.   It's stopped raining now and looking good for the Teams Champs this evening.  Which means the house to myself.  What to do, what to do?????
